Bo Suiter and Sgt. Shane Blagg arrested Richards on Monday, Feb. 16 on a felony bench warrant. An ordinance requiring all residential structures to be at least 18 inches above the grade of the land has been revised by the Trumann City Council. Ordinance number 482 was revised by the council in an attempt to prevent flooding on future structures built in Trumann. City inspector James Ruffin said that the ordinance needed to be reinstated because some builders won't comply unless it is a requirement...

Carmen E. Hesselden, 92, of Trumann died Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Seton Northwest Hospital in Austin, Texas. Born in Vincennes, Ind., she had lived in New Mexico before moving to Trumann 23 years ago. She was a retired saleswoman and a member of the Trumann Twentieth Century Club, Disciples Women's Fellowship and First Christian Church in Trumann...

Funeral services for Altie Bee Fleming, 79, of Trumann, who died Saturday, Feb. 7, at Trumann Health and Rehab Center, were held Thursday, Feb. 12, at Willis Chapel West in Trumann. The Rev. Gene Bogard officiated, and burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery...
