Brune finishes first in district 50-meter freestyle

Scott Brune finished first in the 50-meter freestyle with 24.93 seconds recently in a district swim meet. Brune is the only member of the Trumann swim team. He finished fourth in the 100-meter breaststroke. At the state swim meet at the University of Arkansas Little Rock on March 1, he finished seventh in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 24.5 seconds, which was a personal best time for him. ...

Homer (Dick) Littleton Smith of Marked Tree died March 24, 2003 at Regional Medical center. He was 82 years old. Mr. Smith was a member of the Apostolic Church in Tyronza.
