Bay City Council votes on pay increase

The Bay City Council met in two sessions this past month. The first meeting was Dec. 9 and the second meeting was Dec. 13. At the Dec. 9 meeting, the Council moved into executive session. Coming back from the executive session, Randy Bowers made a motion to increase the pay of city full-time employees, including the mayor, by $25 per week effective Jan. 1 and increase the pay of part-time employees by 62 1/2 cents per hour to $7.125 per hour.
