Trumann Christmas parade set for this weekend

The annual Trumann Christmas parade will take place on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. The parade will be following a new route this year. It will begin at the Bank of Trumann on Hwy 463 South to Main St. Parade participants may stop at the high school or continue on back to the bank. Mayor elect Ronnie Harrison is scheduled to be the grand marshal. The theme for the parade is "Christ, the Heart of Christmas." If raining the parade will be on the following Sunday, Dec. 15...

Albert L. Nance of Kansas City, Mo., died November 19, 2002. He was 79 years old. Mr. Nance was born in Alton, Mo., on September 4, 1923 and was raised in Trumann.
