The general election runoff for Lepanto mayor will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the American Legion Building. The polls open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. Current mayor Dale Dunlap faces challenger Dwight Brown. In the general election on Nov. 6, 30 percent of Lepanto's population cast 645 votes for six mayoral candidates. The Lepanto City Council voted 7-0 in its monthly meeting Monday night to approve Christmas bonuses for city employees.
