Linda Lou Timbs, 63, of Lepanto died July 8, 2002 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg and was retired from American Greetings. The funeral was Wednesday, July 10 at the Murphy Funeral Home Chapel of Lepanto. Bryan Monehan officiated the ceremony. Place of interment was at Potter Memorial Cemetery...

Beulah Mae Bradford, 90, died July 3, 2002 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born Feb. 8, 1912 in Cross County. She was the widow of Hal Bradford, a retired cook and was of the Baptist faith. The funeral was July 5 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel of Marked Tree. Bob Hager and Chris Smithey officiated the ceremony. Place of interment was at the Marked Tree Cemetery...

Three Rivers Country Club will host a two-person scramble July 13 and 14 at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. A fee of $100 will be charged per team.
