Arkansas' highest court voted 7-0 last Friday to agree with a trial court ruling that an Osceola Circuit Judge, along with a Circuit Judge from Pocahontas, could remain on the May 21 judicial primary ballot. In the opinion, written by Associate Justice Jim Hannah, the justices ruled that Lee Fergus of Osceola and Phil Smith of Pocahontas are eligible to seek circuit judgeships in one division, after being appointed to serve in another division...

In its meeting Tuesday night, the Tyronza City Council approved the bid of a Jonesboro company to pave several city streets in Tyronza.
